The report is being prepared by a group of experts from across the region.
The supervisory committee, headed by Dr. Mostafa Kamal Tolba, the global environment veteran, includes Dr. Mohamed El-Ashry, former CEO of Global Environment Facility (GEF), Dr. Mohamed El-Raey, the veteran IPCC associate, and Najib Saab, AFED’s Secretary General.
In support of the report, AFED has entered into cooperation agreements with top universities , including Remote Sensing Center at Boston University headed by the renowned space scientist Dr. Farouk El-Baz, Climate Research Unit at the University of East Anglia, and Faculty of Health Sciences at the American University of Beirut. |
