The Arab Energy Forum held its last annual meeting in Kuwait, to discuss the repercussions of the Russian war in Ukraine and the outcome of the climate summit in Sharm El-Sheikh on Arab energy markets. The discussions focused on the need to prepare for changes by diversifying the economy and investing in clean technologies, including renewable energies, hydrogen, and carbon capture and storage. Among the speakers was AFED Board of Trustees member, Dr. Adnan Shihab El-Din, and AFED Secretary General, Najib Saab, both members of the Energy Forum.
