On January 29, Dr. Mohamed El-Ashry, AFED Board member, presented the report "Impacts of Climate Change on Arab Countries" at the World Resources Institute (WRI) in Washington, DC.  WRI is the premiere think tank on global natural resources and the environment.  About 40 people from the Washington environmental community and the media attended the presentation which was followed by an extensive discussion that reflected deep interest in the subject and how it is being dealt with in the region.
